I for one am fascinated by the fashion of the fifties. I love the glamour and the soft feminine touch that it showcases. The beginning of the 50's were all about wholesome prints, polka dots and full skirts. So here is how to bring a fifties vibe to your modern wardrobe...

This sugary sweet dress is the statement piece for this outfit. It adds a flash of colour without being too 'in your face'. It is also a pretty reasonable price for £55 at Asos.

These BEAUTIFUL sunglasses are £20 and are also at Asos. I love the 'cat-eyed' shape and the intricate details at the side. However cat-eyed sunglasses don't suit everybody's face shape so you might have to adapt this outfit to suit you.

These kitten heels are £125 at Karen Millen. They are rather pricey but definitely worth it.





















These pretty pearls (£35 from Ernest Jones) complete this outfit perfectly. Pearls can also go with numerous outfits so you will be able to get a lot of look for your money.

I often get fashion inspiration from celebrities so  I thought that I would share some of my favourite celebrity looks with you...

I really love Elle Fanning's unique style. It is girly and sweet but it's always bang on trend. Don't even get me started on the Miu Miu shoes in the second picture. <3

             

Miranda Kerr is another celebrity that has impeccable style (or a really good stylist). I really love the floral blazer in the first picture, you could dress it up or down.  Not to mention the chic sunglasses she's sporting.
